The depart­ment of Cal­va­dos is a French depart­ment in the Nor­mandy region.

Goal

Cal­va­dos Tourism want­ed a new iden­ti­ty to boost its com­mu­ni­ca­tion and reju­ve­nate its image. 

Solution

The new logo offers a triple read­ing: the meet­ing between the land and the sea, green and blue, an apple and a heart A love of Nor­mandy”. As for pub­lish­ing and com­mu­ni­ca­tion, it was decid­ed to revis­it the posters of the film A man and a woman”, part­ly filmed in Deauville. It is a mosa­ic of images mix­ing close-ups of faces, images of cou­ples, activ­i­ties and landscapes.
