Seine-Mar­itime is a French depart­ment in Nor­mandy, home to more than a third of the population.

Goal

As part of a call for projects, Seine-Mar­itime Tourisme wish­es to adopt a new brand iden­ti­ty and renew all its pub­li­ca­tions, brochures, press kits, web­site, ban­ners and kakemonos.

Solution

The tourist brand­ing of Seine-Mar­itime was entire­ly designed around the con­cept of Impres­sive Nor­mandy’. This new posi­tion­ing inte­grates a unique col­or, typo­graph­ic and pho­to­graph­ic code, aimed at mod­ern­iz­ing and dif­fer­en­ti­at­ing the image of the des­ti­na­tion. The new brand block rein­forces its attrac­tive­ness and appeals to a younger audi­ence. The acronym rep­re­sents the famous cliffs of Étre­tat, while the Ben­der typog­ra­phy evokes the lug­gage labels and posters of transat­lantic cross­ings of the last century.
